Licenses - Flexible and fair
Licensing models and prices
blue. is available as a SaaS (Software as a Service) – a service provided by our partner company walkingtoweb GmbH – or as a license for local use. Both solutions offer identical functionality.
License upgrades are available in increments of one for both license types. Furthermore, any combination of blue.project with the additional extensions blue.control (financial management), blue.vertrag (contracts and hosting jobs), and blue.rent (property rental) is possible. Licensing is based on the number of concurrently logged-in users.
License*1 is a local version and can be used without a server; a FileMaker Server is required for two or more licenses.
SaaS hosting is a service provided by our partner company walkingtoweb GmbH. walkingtoweb's terms and conditions apply.
A different number of users is easily possible; please contact us for a customized offer.
Information on prices
Each workstation requires a Claris FileMaker Pro 2025/2024 license. For the perpetual license and local use with more than one license, you will also need a FileMaker Server 2025/2024. The license costs for FileMaker Pro/Server are NOT included in the rental or perpetual license prices. We would be happy to advise you on the best solution for your needs. Please note the technical requirements for using blue.
With a perpetual license from blue., you can use this solution locally without any time limit. For SaaS hosting, the minimum contract term is 6 months and is automatically extended by the booked hosting period unless canceled via email 4 weeks prior to the end of the hosting term. SaaS hosting is a service provided by our partner company, walkingtoweb GmbH.
All prices are net prices and will be invoiced to Swiss customers plus VAT. These prices are expressly intended for freelancers, tradespeople, and businesses. Billing is always in CHF; any EUR or USD prices shown are for informational purposes only.

Can my existing data be transferred ?

Can the print layouts be customized ?
You can customize the design of all print layouts, including logos, your own fonts, and print formats. Multilingual print layouts are possible, as are different versions of the layouts, for example, for different departments within your company.
You have full access to all print layouts and can easily define new layouts or duplicate and adapt existing ones.

Which languages are available for blue. ?
All menus are available in German, English, French, and Italian, and each team member can define their own default language.
Integrating additional languages is no problem.
